COMMITTED TO THE WELL-BEING OF OUR SENIORS & OUR COMMUNITY

Our MISSION
The Lucerne Alpine Senior Center organization is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming place for seniors in the North Shore communities. Our center offers a place to gather, enjoy meals, activities, and events together.
In addition, we are here to help seniors access resources that will improve their health and quality of life; offering a turn-key venue for community events; and develop an emergency services hub for local residents when needed.

ANNOUNCEMENTs!
RESILIENCE CENTER
The Lucerne Alpine Senior Center will open as a resilience center for community members of all
ages during emergencies and extreme weather events. During the current summer season we will be open as a cooling center, providing a safe, cool environment for community members of all ages
during the hours of 1 - 4 p.m. Tues.-Fri. when temperatures reach 100 degrees on two consecutive
days, providing we have enough volunteers. If you're interested in volunteering to help with the cooling
center, please stop by during business hours, or call us and leave your name and number.
CHANGES TO FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Twice-monthly food distribution has moved to Running Creek Casino in Upper Lake. Click on the
"Services" tab (above) for more information. If this move will cause hardship for you, please come
in to the Senior Center during our open hours, Tues.-Fri., 10 a.m.-12:30p.m., or the Thrift Store
during open hours, Thurs.-Sat., 11 a.m.-3 p.m., to sign our petition requesting
the return of food distribution to LASC.

The Lucerne Alpine Senior Center is committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity. We do not discriminate based on race, color, creed, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or age with respect to employment, volunteer participation, or the provision of services or benefits.
